My Approach
I’m an integrative psychotherapist. This means I tailor my approach to each individual, drawing on a blend of therapeutic models. I work with compassion, care and often humour. I combine the empathy of humanistic, person-centered therapy with the depth of psychodynamic and systemic approaches. I also integrate mindfulness and psycho-education into my practice. I believe in the transformative power of the therapeutic relationship—when we understand how we relate to ourselves and others, we open the door to greater self-awareness and lasting change.
My practice is anti-oppressive. This means I acknowledge the societal context we come into therapy from, including the structural inequalities affecting marginalised and minoritised groups.

My Qualifications
and Experience
I have an MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Leeds. I bring a wealth of experience from my time at Sheffield Mind, specializing in bereavement and domestic abuse, alongside extensive work with clients facing complex trauma.
I work with people from all walks of life, gender identities, sexualities, race, beliefs or culture.
I have also worked with individuals who are autistic and/or have ADHD.
I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP), and I work in alignment with their rigorous ethical standards.

My Background
Before becoming a psychotherapist, I was part of the corporate world, serving as a director of a consumer insights agency for blue-chip clients. I chose to swap identifying what motivated consumers to endeavouring to understand people more broadly and help alleviate their psychological distress.
